For the past few years, Williamsburg weekenders have flocked to Smorgasburg and Brooklyn Flea, driven by a hunger for all things delectable and collectible. The popular food fair/flea market serves up everything from roasted pork tacos, beet sliders, and doughnuts, to Moroccan rugs, vintage clogs, and unicorn t-shirts. Its outdoor location on the Williamsburg waterfront, with views of the Manhattan skyline and proximity to the East River Ferry, has made it an ideal destination during nice weather. Although typically closed during the cold months, the mega-market’s winter home will move this year to a warehouse in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. That should keep you busy for a few hours on a cold Sunday afternoon.
